Digicorp, Inc.Proprietary Technology Designed to Tap into Fastest Growing Segment of Online Advertising

MARINA DEL REY, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Digicorp, Inc. (OTCBB:DGCO - News) announced today that it has filed patent applications on its contextual, geo-specific, dynamic ad dispatch technology, called ViraCast. Digicorp has numerous U.S. and international patents pending that are directed to important and innovative aspects of building solutions around the evolving media and advertising landscapes.

Digicorp's ViraCast technology offers a unique and immediate opportunity to capitalize on the fastest growing segment of online advertising: rich media, which is projected to expand at a 26% five-year base-case Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) to reach $3.2B by 2010. The CAGR for rich media advertising is expected to exceed even search advertising.

At the core of Digicorp's online advertising solution, ViraCast dynamically inserts and updates display, video or audio advertising that is contextual, geo-specific and interactive; ViraCast also continuously tracks downloads, click-throughs and impressions. A ViraCast can be emailed; embedded in web pages; delivered as podcasts on iTunes; distributed by P2P sites, including LimeWire, Kazaa and BitTorrent; and played in any browser, while still retaining its e-commerce and tracking functionality.

Digicorp has rolled out a beta program powered by ViraCast technology with the debut of its website http://www.beat9.com//, a web-based authoring environment and ad dispatch platform for repurposing media files as dynamic, interactive, e-commerce enabled ViraCasts. Through a simple process, content owners log on to www.Beat9.com and upload their audio or video file; within a few seconds, their file is converted to a fully trackable and e-commerce enabled ViraCast, ready to launch and start generating revenue immediately.

"ViraCast fills a huge void in the online media and advertising marketplace," commented Jay Rifkin, Digicorp's CEO. "We can now connect this vast but fractured body of content with the widest range of advertisers, from regional to Fortune 1000 brands who demand real metrics."
